We are pleased to announce that our VIE Winery 2015 Wynonna's Vineyard Syrah received a Double Gold Medal & 93 points from the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition!
“Our 2015 Wynnona’s vineyard syrah is a full-bodied, dense syrah. In the glass, the dark reddish-brown color defines this deep dense wine on first sight. The nose is a bit closed with a hint of dark, earthy notes. On the palate, there are hints of tobacco, spice, and leather that pull through the mid-palate into a long, dark finish with a hint of blue fruit that lingers in the finish. This wine is quite “tight” now, but will open up in time and be mature in 5-10 years.”
