We are pleased to announce that our VIE Winery 2016 Canihan Vineyard Pinot Noir received a coveted 1-Puff rating from Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine: 

“Clonal disparity in wines of the same variety grown in the same site can result in profoundly divergent styles, but, if this wine is not an indistinguishable copy of its Bien Nacido Clone sibling, neither is it far removed in character. It is arguably a tad richer and riper in tone as well as being the slightly more structured of the two, but, in this instance, it can be easily argued that terroir and winemaking trump clonal variation in VIE’s very similar Syrah pair from the Petris Vineyard. ”
