"Top Syrah in America" & 94 points awarded to 2018 Syrah Canihan Vineyards

We are pleased to announce that our VIE 2018 Syrah Canihan Vineyards was awarded "Top Syrah in America" & 94 points from American Fine Wine Competition!

Our 2018 Canihan Vineyards Syrah is an intense wine from this cool climate vineyard that produces dark grapes with soft skin and loose clusters leading to a dark, dense wine in the glass. Although this vineyard contains Syrah clone from Côte-Rôtie, at first sip, this wine exhibits earthy, leathery notes more familiar with that of the Hermitage wine region. In the mouth, the wine delivers a rich, full bodied and dark fruit qualities on the palate with rich dark berry flavors that carry into a long-smooth finish.
