We are pleased to announce that our VIE Winery 2016 Canihan Vineyard Pinot Noir received a coveted 1-Puff rating from Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine:

A little reticent in distinct Syrah spice but nicely filled with ripe, black cherry fruit and showing distant notes of smoked meats as it evolves in the glass, this slightly supple, full-bodied offering effortlessly maintains its fruity prerogative even as sneaky tannin makes a play in the latter going. Although in no way abrasive or aggressively astringent, it is bound to benefit from mid-term aging and should come into slightly better varietal focus after a few years have passed.
