2012 Belle-Amie Rosé
Santa Barbara County
Our 2012 VIE Winery Belle-Amie Rosé wine is a dry rosé made primarily from Mourvèdre, with a bit of Grenache for brightness and Syrah to provide more depth and mid-palate weight. This rich, full-bodied Rosé exhibits interesting herbaceous characteristics up-front, with strong flavors of boysenberry and red raspberry on the palate. Through the mid-palate a hint of black tar comes through and carries into the finish providing structure and a bit of spice in the aftertaste. It's perfect to drink with friends on a warm summer day. Enjoy this wine now & within 1-2 years.

Accolades & Awards
"A fresh, lively rose that's loaded with candied cherry, melon and strawberry aromas and flavors, the raspberry-tinged 2012 Belle-Amie is decidedly fresh and lively on the palate, with juicy acidity and a clean, dry finish. It's a delicious effort that could stand on its own on a hot summer day or would do nicely to start a meal. Drink now."

"Notes of cherry, cranberry, and raspberry greet the senses. With a sip, flavors of bramble fruit emerge with an accent of spice. A lush, mouth-filling Rosé with a welcoming acidity, it's ideal for a summer picnic or as an apéritif."
